Culture Leicestershire is the County Council’s Museum, Heritage, Libraries, Collections, Learning and Participation services.
Culture is our past, our present and our future. It’s what we have inherited, what we are experiencing now and what we would like to see remembered. It’s myths and legends, faiths and religion, buildings, villages, cities and landscapes, art, dance, music and food, treasured and meaningful objects and possessions, values, beliefs and memories.
This website shares new cultural activities and connections within Leicestershire communities, created by and for local people. Together we are conserving, protecting, exploring, creating and sharing what’s important to the people of Leicestershire using culture as the catalyst.
